Regional Director Northeast

Salary range for this position is $90,000-105,000 depending on location and experience. The ideal candidate lives in the Boston area but must reside near major airport. This position requires heavy travel throughout the semester. Please submit a cover letter along with resume.

Job Summary: The Regional Director, Center for Education and Financial Capability, is a dynamic leader and educator, responsible for driving financial empowerment across law schools in their region. This role combines the energy of a skilled trainer, the expertise of a content creator, and the guidance of a personal finance coach. You’ll deliver engaging workshops and presentations — both in-person and online — while providing one-on-one financial coaching to help students and alumni make confident financial decisions. As the primary point of contact for the law schools in your territory, you’ll own regional relationship management and strategic territory planning to maximize AccessLex engagement and impact. Working collaboratively with teams across the Center for Education and Financial Capability, Center for Legal Education Excellence, Strategic Engagement, and Helix Bar Review, you’ll ensure seamless delivery of programs and services to member law schools, partner institutions, affiliated organizations, and the broader graduate/professional and pre-law communities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Establishes and maintains ongoing, direct contact with member schools and partner organizations within assigned region, including in-person visits, phone calls, webinars, emails and other written communications.
  • Creates a territory specific business plan to increase engagement with AccessLex products and services, especially AskEDNA!® and the MAX by AccessLex® financial education program.
  • Maintains contact management system (CMS) records, including timely updating of contact information, event tracking and campaign participation.
  • Delivers personal finance workshops to prospective law school applicants, current law students and alumni in a friendly, knowledgeable and engaging manner (in-person and virtual).
  • Conducts one-on-one student loan strategy conversations and/or other personal finance coaching sessions with prospective law school applicants, current law students, and alumni (in-person and virtual).
  • Serves as an integral part of the personal finance subject matter expert (SME) team, contributing to the creation of new content, workshops, tools, assessments, and other program materials.
  • Maintains deep knowledge of Company products and services and how they can be utilized for multiple purposes and audiences.
  • Provides insights and recommendations for new services and products to benefit member schools and their students. Contributes to the development and quality control of new products, services, and communications for member schools and their students and recent alumni.
  • Serves as a company ambassador at industry conferences, tradeshows, and other assigned events.
  • In collaboration with the marketing team, maintains social media presence to promote the Company, for lead development and nurturing, and other opportunities.
  • Keeps National Director aware of successes, challenges, and any red flag issues in the assigned region under his/her direction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs). To succeed in the Regional Director, Center for Education and Financial Capability position, the candidate should possess the following KSAs:
  • REQUIRED
    • Superior attention to detail and superior organizational and time-management skills
    • Superior writing, verbal communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills
    • Collaborative mindset, ability to give and receive feedback to improve products and services
    • Computer proficiency, including experience with Web-based applications, Zoom, CRM (especially Salesforce), and online collaboration tools
    • Experience conducting in-person, phone and online client meetings and presentations
    • Passion and enthusiasm for financial capability
    • Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) designation (must obtain within 6 months of employment)
    • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
  • PREFERRED
    • Knowledge of or deep interest in the legal field, law school admissions, financial aid, student services, academic success, debt management, and legal career paths
    • Knowledge of debt management, student loan programs, and applicable regulations
    • Knowledge of student engagement and programming best practices
    • Experience in the graduate and professional education sector
    • Understanding of the impact of financial education on personal and organizational outcomes
    • Expertise in personal finance content
    • Knowledge of event planning and coordination and conference vending
  • BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE
    • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in education-related occupation; on-campus experience preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in client management and relationship building preferred

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position located in a remote office. The incumbent is expected to be present and accessible for at least 40 hours per week, subject to approved leave time, travel and other absences as described in the Employee Handbook or as otherwise agreed by the Company. The Company’s standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
